Foward from Colin Bloom CEO- Precious in the sight of the LORD.... when we read about our Christian brothers and sisters in Christ we don't know anything about them, especially in instances of mass casualties, but how different it is with our LORD, every one is known to Him. And we know that our brothers and sisters in Christ who have passed on from tragic incidents of persecution now know our Triune thrice holy God more fully and wonderfully than they did before.
. We learn of a moving incident in Lebanon, where Christian women from across the Middle East had a healing session where they metaphorically put their troubles on a wooden cross.
. We learn of a church group in the outskirts of Cairo, a converted house where Sudanese brothers and sisters in Christ worship together. They are refugees who have endured unimaginable trials such as loss of homes and loved ones. It is a modest space with basic equipment, but how eternally valuable!
. On the Barnabas Aid exposition of Psalm 72, we are taught a humbling reminder- God is sovereign over our lives and there are many sacrifices we have to make for our LORD.. maybe even our earthly life.
