. Remember Pastor Barnabas who lived in a tent with his family no bigger than a double bed? By God's grace he now has a normal house. However, let us not forget and continue praying for the many brothers and sisters in Christ still placed in Nigeria.
. Praise God for the work of Open Doors in helping Diana from Indonesia learning a news skill, sowing. Diana lived a life of drug addiction but in jail she became a Christian. Her family never rejected her in jail but they did when she became a Christian. Pray for Diana to thrive in her skill and bring glory to God by her story.
. Pray for all of our Yemeni brothers and sisters in Christ, being detained at a record rate, additionally threats against Yemeni Christians are being made on social media.
. Pray for the brothers and sisters in Christ in jail in Iran, particularly the sisters, as jail is especially dangerous for them as males are allowed to work in them, Iranian women get abused by men regularly in the jails, but Christian women get abused especially bad as they are treated like sub-humans.
Pray for prison reform in Iran generally, pray for a system where men would not be allowed in women's jails at all.
. Thank God for the record attendance of MPs at the World Watchlist event in the UK- raising awareness of the plight of the persecuted church.
Note- No Wednesday Bible Study notes this week as the main pastor did not take the session and the elder does not preach in a way where you'd take notes- the overall theme was putting on the armour of God in proclaiming the Gospel and in dealing with temptation.
