Lent ideas
I'm Reformed and I go to a Reformed church. Yeah the church is a Reformed Baptist one and I'm a Reformed Anglican.
So on Wednesday I will be starting Lent- giving up alcohol and sweets.
I always used to buy a book for Lent but realised most weren't good (The 'Release International' one was fantastic though) so this year I will be reading through the 'Open Doors World Watchlist'.
The Open Doors World Watchlist does a great job in helping me pray for my persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ around the world and it features tons of individual stories- a great reading through lent as a daily devotional.
Believers in Christ that are doing Lent- what are you giving up?
