Love your enemies, Jesus said.

Jesus was accused of insurrection against Rome. Maduro is accused of causing harm to the USA. How would the Pope minister to Maduro, who is a Catholic, on the practice of Christian love?

Not sure I get this. The direct answer to your question is that he should forgive his enemies, but since Maduro is a top shelf narco, that seems to be the wrong focus

This focus of this thread is the practice of Jesus teaching and not the excuse for living as a hypocrite i.e. a Christian who pretends to have virtues, beliefs, or feelings they don't actually possess, and whose actions, as American Christians, contradict their stated moral standards, often feigning piety or principles while acting contrary to them.

Who should forgive his enemy? Maduro or Trump, who is also a Christian?

And what do you mean by "wrong focus"? What Maduro is accused of is irrelevant.
