Release International Highlights Jan- Mar 2026
. Forward from the CEO Paul Robinson, reminding us about our brothers and sisters in Christ who still manage to humbly love and forgive their persecutors. What an example to us. He also reminds us that a new years resolution we could have would be to continue praying more often for our brothers and sisters in Christ across the world.
. Pakistan- Pray for Zafar Bhatti's family- just two days after being released from jail this former pastor has gone to be with the Lord. His wife is struggling to make ends meet financially.
. Nigeria- pray for the wife and daughter of Rev Edwin Achi. Edwin has gone to be with the Lord under the hands of his captors. An update not mentioned in the magazine (they were under captivity at the time of writing), his wife and daughter have now been released, pray for them to continue knowing and growing in the love of Christ at this hard time for them.
. Pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ in Russian occupied parts of Ukraine- the restrictions imposed on Ukranian Christians by the Russian government has resembled Soviet era restrictions.
. How do we respond with stories of the persecuted church? We weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15). When a family member rejoices , we rejoice with them and likewise weep when they weep. Why are fellow Christians not biologically related to us, still our family? Hebrews 2:11 sums it up- we have the same Heavenly Father.
