So the last daily Bible reading of 2025 for me! The OT daily reading took me to the last two chapters of Malachi.
It reminded me of what the church I used to attend did at their carol service.
Malachi 4:6 is read out "And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."
An onimous silence follows representing the 400 years of silence..... will the Lord come in judgment and leave us under the curse?
And then........ "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" is sung. Beautiful.
Below is my travel Bible and my devotional books, it really enhanced the Bible study! And yes the coffee mug betrays my football ("soccer" 🙄) team 😅
