The Bible is not the word of God

The Bible is not the perfect word of God but a description of a culture that lived at that time and their beliefs. If this is the perfect word of God then one would believe that God would have you stone to death children who are rebellious and stubborn. Stoning to death children is not a perfectly good God. This is not the word of God but a description of cultural norms of that period within that Society. The Bible is simply a collection of myths and stories within a culture of that time period.

Deuteronomy 21:18–21.
The passage describes a “stubborn and rebellious son” who:
Persistently disobeys his parents
Is described as violent, gluttonous, and a drunkard
Refuses correction despite discipline
The parents bring him together to the elders at the city gate, where the men of the city carry out the sentence of death by stoning, “so you shall purge the evil from your midst"

Almost all of the stories in the Old & New Testaments are evil.

@Diotrephes compared to how we conduct ourselves in today's society it is definitely evil. Although there are people today that would conduct themselves in such a hideous manner.
