Post Red Flags

Rather than flagging concerns with individual posts I'm going to do a checklist of things to avoid in Christisn posts and videos, I will keep updated so give me any ideas.

1. Therepeautic language/all about you. "You deserve" You're amazing" etc. Not biblical language.

2. Cutesy/ chummy language about God- Language that suggests God is your best buddy (not the sovereign Creator of the universe), language that makes him look like a helpless romantic or a care bear.

3. Visions- "God said to me" No he didn't. "I hear angels" etc. No you don't. Revelation in full has been given to us by scripture.

Go down this route and you hear lies, one "pastor" said Jesus asked him for forgiveness. How blasphemous and absurd.

4. Love love love- People that only ever mention God's love. Yes God is the purest love- but God has other attributes too such as justice and wrath.

5. Politicising Jesus- Yes the far left love to try and make Jesus into a far left hippy (2nd Thelossians 7-10 should clear that up), but the biggest issue at the moment is political Conservatives weaponising the name of Christ.

Christian nationalism is not the Gospel. Also Patrick Chrystis from GB News said people are turning to Christ "Because they want their country back". Once again, a bizarre claim and no Gospel.

6. If a person is celebrated- are/were they saved- did they believe on Christ? The Christ of the Bible- God the Son? Did they believe in the Trinity?

7. Prosperity gospel- God wants you to be rich, healthy, live your best life, etc.

8. God is overly anthropomorphized- "God is sad when you're sad" etc

9. You have influence over God- "Your faith activates God" etc

@Bumbles Glad you're using time posting GIFs on posts not relevant to you.

@BritishFailedAesthetic I’m just glad you are here with the best form of Christianity telling other people they are wrong.
@Bumbles Hey atleast I'm getting a form of engagement on these posts 😂

These people are too used to the prosperity Gospel, which makes it all about them. Someone should have taught Paul about "self care" and "self love" in 2nd Timothy 😂
