Sermon Notes 14/12/2025
The sermon in church today was based on Luke 1:26-38
. If anyone reading this ends up in heaven (by believing on Christ) it will only be by Christ's redemptive purposes.
. The Bible passage above will be read up and down the country, true Gospel churcges will read it with excitement as it has meaning for heaven and hell.
. Nazareth was a place of insignifigance bordering pagan places- this will show Christ came to save people who come to him from all nations.
. "The Lord is with you". Not wealth, not success, not your greatest life. This is the greatest blessing we can have.
. Mary was not full of pride. She didn't respond by saying "Look at me and how blessed I am". She was filled with humility.
. "You WILL concieve." God DOES.
. As Gabriel declared "Do not be afraid". Salvation is of the Lord- if you are saved, you are saved by God's decree.
