the sad verse that jesus showed me in the bible

when i met him in the spiritual word

the sprit said that he was jesus and he told me to grab my bible and turn to
Isaiah 53:2

which reads:

For He [the Servant of God] grew up before Him like a tender shoot (plant), And like a root out of dry ground; He has no stately form or majestic splendor That we would look at Him, Nor [handsome] appearance that we would be attracted to Him.

see how horrible jesus was treated because people didnt think he was beautiful i wanted to cry reading this

That is not what this verse means. It means Jesus was born to be just an ordinary man....on purpose. God did not give Jesus flashy looks to attract followers. God did not wish for people to be drawn to Jesus for his looks..........but rather for who He was.

It was God's intent that we would be drawn to Jesus as God......not because of his looks like so many do now over a Kardashian.......or a movie star. This isn't a sad verse because Jesus was created to be ugly. It is a verse that tells us God created Jesus as one of us.

@myfaithischristian Yes..............but the verse says he was not created to look like he was the best looking guy on earth.......for a reason. So we would want HIM.........not just his looks.
