Self help in light of God's word.

This is a warning, I know the author I am trying to adress is going through issues and I am praying for those issues- but they have significant influence and false teaching needs to be called out.

. God did not use Carl Jung- Carl Jung was an occultist, mystic and he is in hell, he has rejected Christ.

. Christians are not to refuse genuine medication- prayer is of course essential but don't ever think you are guaranteed physical healing through prayer, that is pure 'word of faith' false teaching.

. "Love yourself, self acceptance, self love" these concepts are not found in God's word, they are Western self help jargon.

. "You're not broken"- you absolutely are and so am I, we are all broken due to original sin. The answer is the Gospel of Christ.

. A reminder- God is a Thrice Holy Triune God, sovereign over the universe and infinitely Holy and infinitely glorious, He is not a cosmic therapist.

We have all walked in this stage of trying to blend the world with Christ, myself included, please come to reject this ideology, join a Gospel church and may God the Holy Spirit convict you.
