When God shows you blessings....
So for the past two weeks and probably at least the next week (I think longer) we have the mother in law staying around (every man's dream🤭).
But feeling fed up God truly snapped me out of it today. We were at a friends' wedding blessing ceremony at church and we met his parents- goodness me, were they formal. The dad virtually sneered at his son's ((our friend) job subtly and you could feel the tension like you could slice it like a knife. The mum was friendly sure but detached and she asked questions in the conversation to him as if they were at a formal networking event and they didn't know each other- for goodness sake you carried him for 9 months!
I really feel God used this for me to be more grateful for my in-laws despite the cultural differences. They may have quirks (to me) I get (but still don't understand) but you know what- my father in law or mother in law would never look down at me for being unemployed- the father in question here absolutely would.
So yes I could've ended up with in laws I see less as per my fleshly desire, and those in-laws would keep out of our way, but they would absolutely bash me for being unemployed- my current ones kindly help out my wife and I until I find work.
So when we complain about our life God will always be there to humble us.. He knows what's best!
