Non-Religiously Religious

I really need to start reading some Satanic scriptures. I'm sure to find beautiful sayings in there as well. I know they say Satan doesn't do things for you but rather helps you find the strength that you've had in you all along. We all are our own gods and can overcome any obstacle in our way.

@SomeMichGuy That's me lacking knowledge of what scriptures there are out there. I know there are Satanic churches and so there must be some holy scripts. I just need to find out more information.

And why are you having so much hate?
3) And "Satanic scripture"? smh
Please don't tell me you're having on Satanism because you think Christianity is so much better thereby showing your hubris for your own religion in a selfish manner without considering what other religions might bring to the lives of people.
@froggtongue Lmao

Other POSITIVE religions, from the PoV of what the founder intended, no problem.
@SomeMichGuy From my point of view it's the Jedi who are evil, er I mean the one known as Yahweh who is evil.
@froggtongue You'd have to understand the competing views of God in the Old Testament, but that is the domain of Judaism more than Christianity.

The four Gospels of the "New Testament" show Jesus' take on Jewish Scripture (the Old Testament), and how He viewed it and what He wanted to emphasize. His revelation of the Nature of God is very much at odds with the crazy, mythic, pantheistic depiction at the beginning of Job, where the "God" there is very close to your description.
@SomeMichGuy Be it as it may it's still a matter of you choosing to follow a religion known as Christianity because that's what you want to do. You can give any number of reasons for it like it will save your soul or whatever. But anybody can use the same arguments for their own religion to include Satanism.
In other words take your bible and say "this is the way". Then someone else can take their bible and say that is the way. So it's just one person's preference over another.

So do you known any Satanic scriptures to point out to me? Hell I'll even look for Buddhist scriptures if you know of any. Even any other religion's scriptures just so I can start to become much more well rounded and educated person in matters of religions.
@froggtongue
Of course one can choose one's beliefs, regardless of whether they are positive, etc. FSM is a better one than Satanic, bc it's at least comedic.

There are biblical verses which mention Lucifer, etc.

You already think you're a god, so you clearly make up your own religion.
@SomeMichGuy you do know there are versions of Satanism that don't take themselves as literal. Meaning they're just like the FSM but with Satan as the figure. Then of course there are other denominations of Satanism that do take themselves as quite literal.

You see the religion of Satanism is just as diverse as the religion of Christianity or any other. There will be many different views. Some take Christianity as serious when they point to parts in their bible which say a true believer will be able to handle dangerous poisonous snakes. I'm going to guess you're like the majority who don't believe that despite it being in the bible you say you follow.
