. The Gospel of Christ should be the highest priority in your life, you should also be able to discern false gospels.
. One easy principle for finding a false teacher- do they serve Christ or themselves? I.e. pastors that use Christ as a political means, the health and wealth Gospel etc.
. Such is the depth of God's word preachers don't need to "do things differently" no fake miracles every Sunday and no silly gimmicks required!
. Simply judge a pastor on this- is HE preaching the Gospel and serving Christ? Find the green exit sign if your pastor is not preaching the Gospel.
. Just as a flag is planted by soldiers before a victory, so it is with Christ who will soon crush Satan.
. “God loves the saints as the purchase of his Son's blood. They cost Him dear, and that which is so hardly got shall not be easily lost. He that was willing to expend his Son's blood to gain them, will not deny His power to keep them.” William Gurnall
. Even angels can't fathom the glorious depths of the Gospel.
. Tombs of heretical false teachers and false prophets of world religions contain their bones and remains- but Christ's tomb is empty and it will forever be empty.
. We can know all about celebrities, historical figures, etc but that doesn't mean we know them personally. Likewise we can know all about Christ (so to speak, even an eternity won't be long enough to comprehend His glory) but that doesn't mean you know him personally- you must believe ON Him.
