A great coffee
This will definitely be one of my memories when I get a job from being redundant.
Yesterday in the afternoon I met up with my pastor in town for a coffee (his initiative, as you know I always avoid burdening pastors, it was a casual meetup as he was in town) at a nice, independent coffee chain, very courteously he paid.
Lots in common with him- both a huge reader of the 'Banner Of Truth' publications and both love a good bit of church history and theology.
As you have known from the relatively recent sermon and Bible study notes God has used him to be a great mentor in Christ- you really have to hear him speak of God's glory and sovereignty- my greatest desire of him would be for every professing Christian on here to have a video call with him- that would be amazing and your view of God would increase tenfold.
We spend nearly three hours talking about everything- God in relation to my job, our home lives, God's providence, theology, etc, etc.
Ok ok maybe I have to keep to the rules and critique the experience- my only complaint about him is I have to keep looking up at him as he's a tall guy
