Church today and our preparation
Chiara and I were showered and we got ready while Edoardo showered. We both opted for blue, again Chiara’s dress was a paler blue than mine. Similar dresses, half sleeves to our elbows, and we both wore mantillas, hers white and mine a dark blue.
We were bare legged, our dresses knee length and we wore flatties as shoes. 🥿 I wore just a little eye shadow and mascara. Chiara doesn’t get made up for Church.
Edoardo wore a white shirt, a dark navy suit with a black tie. He and my father always wear a black tie if they are wearing a tie to Church. He added a favourite pair of shoes to his ensemble. His suit is silk, like so many of his suits are.
My father wore a suit, dark grey, and my mother wore a deep purple cotton dress with full sleeves. Very august in style and suitable for a woman of rank in the Church. We are all now at my parents house for lunch. 🥗
