Atheists will love that. They feel so much better about themselves after a failed end-of-the-world prediction

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Not so fast...the bible passages those scenes where Jesus is prophesying are NOT about the end of the WORLD in the sense of planets, stars, space time, etc.....those prophesies are about the end of the AGE, which by the way DID happen historically. Once the Temple was destroyed it was the full end of the Old Covenant Age. Really it ended when Jesus was crucified and risen but it was still waning, and a full end of it was made in 70 AD. In some bibles in Matthew 24 and parallel chapters in other gospels may say "world" but the Greek wording int hose passages means the end of the age, not world.
As for expectations that Jesus would rule physically from an earthly throne after this period, the bible has zero verses that teach that. A lot of bible prophesy people say so because they are reading that expectation INTO those verses, but those verses don't say that. If anything Jesus will rule more directly and physically at some undetermined time in the future, and the best I can say I believe that will happen whenever God decides it is time for that to happen of which I have zero idea how far into the future that might be, then only factor is I think God wants more people to repent and find faith first, and on that note the world is not ready. If God waits far fewer people will be condemned to hell, which is God's will.
Your saying those prophesies are failed that Jesus spoke are based on bad interpretations of the bible on those chapters...but if we correctly interpret those chapters the prophesies came true in excruciating detail, especially if we compare those chapters to the historical record of events from the 60's AD to 70 or a little past it.

He makes an interesting point, under the Hellenists with Antiochus Epiphanes we could call that era a lesser Tribulation and 70 AD a greater Tribulation. Study history on what happened in the Roman Jewish wars and the siege of Jerusalem, it was horrific, 3 million Jews were holed up in Jerusalem during that siege because of the exact time the Romans attacked.
Antiochus Epiphanes was a type of Antichrist.
Now IF the actual end of the world in a more literal sense is the 2nd Coming, rapture, burning everything with fire, then a new heaven and new earth with the Final Judgment, then I would say that I am an absolute Post Trib rapture person, a in the rapture happens THOUSANDS of years after the Tribulation. If the Tribulation is in the past don't look for any signs of an oncoming Tribulation to look for the rapture like so many bible prophesy teachers tell us, there probably won't be many signs forecasting this.
There are prophesies near the end of Revelation about the Kingdom of God growing and growing and growing until it encompasses everything. It is possible that is talking about our current age in spite of so so many imperfections in so many churches, God uses us in spite of ourselves.

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP There is no way to get around that the Olivet Discourse was in response to the Disciples saying how wonderful the Temple Buildings were, and then Jesus launches into the discourse saying how not one stone will be left upon another.....

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP They weren't failed prophesies, and here is historical evidence:

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Also just because bible prophesy teachers tell us that Jesus rules from an earthly throne for a literal thousand years (before the eternal age) doesn't mean their INTERPRETATION is correct. Nothing in the bible, exactly zero verses have Jesus returning to sit on an earthly throne in Jerusalem exist, at least not before the Final Judgment. The appearance of Jesus in the sky with heavenly armies don't have Jesus landing on the ground. This is what was reported in Josephus JUST LIKE Revelation says would happen.
