Two more from the persecuted church

I Was in Portugal for a bit so took a break from posting and I had to catch up on some material for you guys, but every 15 days Open Doors does a story from their prayer diary and I will share both with you.

1. Ronald from Kenya- Mornng prayers happened at the university Ronald worked for in 2015 when four gunmen roamed through the university, targeting Christians.

Ronald survived being shot but suffered hearing loss and three amputated fingers. As if suffering from his injuries weren't bad enough, the university heartlessly asked him "Now you are disabled, how are you going to manage the class?"

Ronald now teaches with a government institution and is healing very well emotionally, please keep him in your prayers.

2. Hakuri from Niger (not Nigeria)- When Hakuri first heard the gunshots her and her family ran for cover, the radicals then started burning down houses, the radicals then started shooting at the men and Hakuri's husband was fatally shot.

Women and children were then forced into a school by the radicals, they said if they found any men they would be killed.

The women feared for their son's lives so they enacted a plan- they dressed the boys up in girl's clothes and then they took the road out of the area. The radicals became suspicious but by God's grace the radicals didn't realise and believed the women that their sons had scattered.

After a long journey Hakuri, her 11 children and her mother in law managed to find refuge in a house. Hakuri currently says cakes made of beans just to make ends meet, she is struggling financially as she is the sole worker.

Open Doors has helped Hakuri cover financial needs and has helped provide her financial needs, she asks for your prayers.
