Sermon Notes 28/09/25
After the post I did on Sunday may as well include the excellent sermon notes!
. If you are truly saved, the Holy Spirit will be working within you, examine yourself on this point.
. If the Gospel isn't preached at your church then leave it- faith in Christ doesn't spread through gimmicks, through Christian nationalism, etc. It spreads through the Gospel preached!
. Only God, his word and the Gospel will satisfy your eternal soul.
. The Apostle Paul was a persecutor- just like the persecutors we read about today in charities like Open Doors. What will a good pastor say that the Apostle Paul said? "I am what I am by the grace of God". Without God's grace they wouldn't be a pastor. Let's take this further- without God's grace none of us would be Christians.
. Witnessing to family isn't easy (believe me) telling your family that unless they accept Christ's sacrifice for our sin they will be eternally damned is hard. Start by sowing seeds- even saying something positive of Christ helps. Baby steps.
