This morning I read one of my favourite pieces of wisdom literature from the Bible- the Song Of Solomon.
In a rare turn of events I actually disagreed with the Macarthur commentary- I absolutely think the Song can be applied to our walk with Christ, yes I am aware some parts would be inappropriate to apply but mostly it can.
Reading it and applying it to my walk with God really moves me and makes for beautiful reading and I highly reccomend the same.
Some examples=
. The gardens- the gardens of God's blessings, etc.
. The scents of Myrrh- God's "fragrance" etc.
. The foxes- people that try (intentional or otherwise) and hinder our walk with God, etc.
Let me know of your analogies.
With this in mind, yes I know no earthly analogy can summarise God's glory, even with an eternity we can never fully comprehend the glory of God.
