EARTH A PRISON

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

When you read the Bible you find that Jesus said he beheld Satan as lightning fall down to earth - Luke 10:18

You find in the Bible that Michael and his angels fought against the dragon and his angels. The dragon and his angels lost and were cast down to earth - Revelation 12:7-9

You'll find in the Bible that the Earth is under judgment because the God of this world has been judged. 1 John 16: 11-10

You'll find written Jesus said hell was created for the devil and his angels, yet the spirits in humans will go there too - Matthew 25:41

You'll find in the Bible God formed man from the dust meaning elements of the Earth and placed him in the garden which he had prepared, the word "placed".

Makes you wonder do we have the reasonings for our existence on Earth wrong?

Makes you wonder why did God create us and put us here?

Makes you wonder about the Watchers / and angelic being considered a holy one was mentioned in Daniel 4:3. Watching????

The Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.

The Bible says salvation and redemption for the spirits of us housed within humans bodies.

And the Bible tells us our bodies go back to the dust of the Earth and our spirits go back to God who gave them - Ecclesiastics 12:7 and we will beJUDGED is written throughout scripture.

One thing is for sure in the natural, we are bound to Earth

Nowhere else can we as humans live without the oxygen of the Earth, the water of the Earth, and the food of the Earth.

I wonder just who are we, I know there is a lot more than the Bible tells us going on and has went on, even before the foundations of the Earth.

Pay no attention to the outside cover, but listen to how we humans can't live anywhere else but Earth.

I believe God created the universe as a stage where the great contraversy could be solved by demonstration..

The great controversy is God being exclusively the one and only God and Lucifer/ satan laying claim to Godhood, wanting to be equal with God..

I believe we serve as part of the demonstration..

Through the heavenly hosts interaction with human beings God demonstrates why Lucifer/ satan cannot be God equal to YAVEH the one and only God of all existence.. When God placed Adam and Eve in the garden with the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in it.. He allowed satan to make his sabotage attempt.. An attempt designed to make Gods Creation work a failure and thus showing to his fellow angels that God had failed and thus was unworthy of being the one and only God of all existence..

But God had only given satan enough rope to hang himself and had the redemption plan already worked out.. So the LORD overcame the sabotage and showed how satan and his angels claim to Godhood was false..

Also you mentioned Jesus talking about seeing satan fall from heaven.. Yes but Jesus never said if it was a prophecy of a future event or it had happened when Jesus actually saw saatn falling from heaven.. The tradition of men that claims that satan fell from heaven in the times of the garden of Eden is false.. The Bible does not support that.. satan had access to heaven and earth in the times of Job which was way after the times of the garden of Eden..

I believe the final battle between Micheal and his angels and satan and his angels may still be in the future.. I believe that satan will finally be cast out of heaven to earth in the actual end times days just before the return of our LORD Jesus Christ..

I'll start by saying this is my belief and the belief of many other Christians.

Satan lost his standing as a son of God, a cherubim that covereth at his fall and all the angels that followed him lost their standing as children of God, their places were not found in heaven.

We are taught Every living being that has life are children of God, are we not? Yet Paul tells us the gentiles will be adopted to become children of God Ephesians 1:5 --------John 1:12 tells us that all that believe in Jesus will be giving the right to become children of God.

Do I believe there's many as Jesus, no I don't nor I have any idea what God our Father has done. As John 1:1-2 says in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

"""I never said punishment was carried out"""" I quoted scripture that Satan has been judged. To be judged means you have stood trial, you have been found guilty. His punishment as well as all the other fallen is coming as written in the chapters of the Book of Revelation. So you read words that I didn't say.

I just thought I'd put in about the ancient Hebrews and what they believed concerning Satan just to show how different beliefs were then and is now. Christians also believe at least many Christians believe that Jesus / Yeshua is Yahweh, Elohim, of the Old Testament and since God never changes he's still the same God as he was in the Old Testament. And thank you, but I am mostly fully aware of what Christians believe or disbelieve and their differences in theology, that's why it's so many denominations.

I never said the Angels / the Watchers who were the angels of Genesis 6 were cast down to hell, I never said any angel or being has been cast down to hell, again you've put words in my mouth. Jude 1:6 tells us those angels are being held in chains of darkness. ------- and many Christians believe they are the for Angels that's bound in the Euphrates river and will be released in Revelation 9:4. Only one Angel is mentioned to be in the bottomless in 9:11. Whose theology is right, who's is wrong will not know until the time is.------- the bottomless pit and the Euphrates River are two separate places, he is just the king over them, just like he's called god of this world in 2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV.

One thing is sure Christians are divided on a few theologies of scripture. And it's good when one can express their views, without debate.

Thanks for the chat. If you respond I'll read it but I will not respond again on this particular thread.

@Charity Yeah your taking this discussion as a personal attack.. I was taking it as an interesting discussion and an opportunity to share thoughts..

incidenly in never said you said the angels in genisis 6 where cast down into hell.. I was sharing my belief as to where they went and why they are not in hell and why the tradition of men started to state that satan is the ruler of hell..

Simply sharing thoughts but you seem to want to take everything i say as a personal attack.. So sad.. I will move on..

@Adstar
What makes you come to the conclusion I am taking what you say as a personal attack.

I have been in this world a long time and I know Christians have over 300 denominations and thousands of sub denominations within those denominations because of different theologies.

Your words were "firstly" they were not cast into hell." Firstly is a word when used in such manner is used as a correction.

Now you're saying that you said never said the angels in Genesis 6 was cast down to hell, I never said that either.

Now you can take whatever attitude you want to take concerning my words that's your business my words were not insulting, nor did anything I say indicate I felt you were making personal attacks to me.

This is not my first talk with you, that is why I said I will not reply again on this post.

Be that as it may you have a blessed life goodbye.

The bible also says that after God made everything - "God saw all that he had made, and it was very good."

God "put" us here to love Him. Humans are the ONLY thing created in God's image.

What "screwed everything up" was US! WE chose to sin (disobey God). WE brought all our problems on ourselves. We desired (and still desire) to put ourselves above our creator (God) - as if we know more than He.

@shuhak

The Bible does say God said what created was VERY good.

The Bible says God created us for his pleasure. Psalms 149:4 Revelation 4:11

Indeed mankind does have a flaw, many flaws. Why is that?

It had to be in us from the beginning of creation / that rebellious nature / that sinful nature / that disobedient nature.

The Bible says God said he created evil -Isaiah 45:7 and it's in us, why is that?

The Bible tells us Lucifer rebelled he was the cherubim that covereth, he walked in the mountains of God and God's garden, he had all the precious jewels he was the most beautiful of his creations yet pride was found in him. Just like the spirits housed in human bodies. Why are the spirits in humans so much like the devil?

Jesus said fear not him who can destroy the body but fear him who can destroy both body and soul in hell. That indicates souls / spirits or eternal and only God our Father can destroy them

There is a lot we're not told there is a lot we will not know until, we are reunited with the Lord in the new heaven and on the new Earth and in incorruptible imperishable bodies, as John said we will see him as he is and we will be like him 1 John 3:2.

But enough said it's all food for thought, both truths and wonderments.
