My wife went to a ladies night at a church we don't attend

We have gone there before at the invitation of our daughter. So as my wife was helping clean up after the party one of the women from the church spoke to my wife. The lady said that she remembered my wife and I attending the church on Mother's Day. She went on to say that my wife and I had had a real impact in the church. My wife was a bit shocked. Neither her nor I said anything to anyone beyond exchanging pleasantries. Then I remembered my daughter saying that some of the women in the church had commented to her in early June how when we walked in they had a real sense of Peace.
