Sermon Notes 07/09/25
. What is the sign of a healthy church- activities? Large congregation? Huge outeeach? No. While these aren't bad in and of themselves the mark of a healthy church is where God's word and the Gospel are preached.
. A healthy church will have mutual edification- praying for each other, encouraging one another with what God has done in your life, etc.
. Want to know the will of God for your life? It's not what your flesh desires- It's to serve and glorify God!
. How small are our worries and sacrifices compared to Christ who lived a life of opposition, was betrayed, shed his blood on the cross for us and on the cross had God's wrath poured on him, rightly meant for us.
. God's word knows nothing of lone ranger Christians- we are to join a local Gospel orientated church- YouTube sermons don't count!
. May your church be healthy, solely for God's glory!
