Wednesday Church Bible Study 03/09/25
. The providence of God is far higher than our ways- so are naturally mysterious.
. Lots of Christian posters, missonaires, pastors, etc see little fruit but God is hiding behind the scenes.
My own take- A thought occurred to me- encouragement is very rare for me on here but I got encouragement in a very unexpected form- a non Christian on here said they found reading my posts interesting.
. Despite his poor attitude and his pride, God esteemed Jonah for the task of preaching at Nineveh.
. We all live in a Nineveh- in the way we are called to do so, we are to boldly proclaim the Gospel.
. Contrary to a certain Christian poster on here someone outside of Christ can indeed be thrown into hell at any moment.
Satan loves people in a stupified state with regards to their eternal salvation.
I am not making this up after mentioning a poster yesterday- the pastor once again used the Jonathan Edwards analogy of walking over hell on a rotting wood bridge that could give way any second if you are outside of Christ.
Unbelievably a huge Christian poster on here called that a "scare tactic" I would expect such reasoning from a atheist/agnostic but even from the poster's typically STRONGLY synergistic views, this is a logical conclusion.
I invite the poster- does an individual know when they will die? What happens if someone outside of Christ dies? Two questions for the poster.
. Let us always pray for the unsaved outside of Christ.
. Is there an area in our lives where we are like Jonah and refuse to give to Christ?
. May we not withhold the Gospel from even the worst of sinners- the Apostle Paul would formerly have been a persecutor mentioned in charities like Open Doors!
