2nd Peter 3:3 Scoffers In The Last Days

[media=https://youtu.be/XjwssPBIr_o?si=1X-lIR2XZEYVFDYb]

In the ancient days people didn't mock people's beliefs in a Divine entity, today it is quite different. Christianity is the most attacked religion in this world. Secondly is Islam, thirdly is Judaism. All three believe in the same God, and Judaism he is referred to as Yahweh / El / Elohim, in Islam he's called Allah. And Christianity he is referred to as Yahweh, El, Elohim and more recent Jehovah.

And what do we see in these days that are close to the end of time, scoffers on the left, right, above, and below seeking Christians that they can devour.

It is always the end time, till the second coming. The ‘now’ is important.

Christians always have had to expect persecution.

Pray for your local fellowship, the wider community. And the world. Hold a few each day. The persecution of Christian’s by Buddhists in Burma, by Hindus in India, by Islamists in Pakistan, drug cartels in Columbia. Remember, this is Gods world.

Thank you,

the point of the post is mocking belief in a divinity, referring directly to non-believers mocking believers.

Those who practice Hinduism or Buddhism believe in deities, different than that of Christianity which is where the conflict comes.

Islamist do not believe in Jesus but they believe in Allah who is the same as Yahweh, the deity that they believe in.

Judaism which is also part of Christianity considering the Old Testament and Yahweh, they do not believe in Jesus but they believe in a deity.

I have no idea what the Colombians of the drug cartel believe in, whether they are atheist, agnostic, or believe in other gods. They don't persecute Christians because of their belief in God but because Christians speak out and work against what the cartel is doing.

The end times started at the resurrection and Ascension of Christ ( I believe I mentioned that on my other post). I wasn't trying to indicate when the end time started but was focused on these modern days, as you say the NOW.

Indeed this is God's world but until the return of Christ the devil, Satan, Lucifer, the dragon, the serpent, whatever you want to call him is considered the god of this world // as written in scripture the god of this world has blinded the eyes of them that believeth not -- 2 Corinthians 4:4 which was my other post for today.

But I understand

@Charity I pray for those who are persecuted.

Not too concerned about the end of the world.
The Lord’s Prayer says enough.

There is a beautiful passage in Romans, ‘who can understand the mind of God, who has been His counsellor.’

There are things beyond our comprehension.
