His frequent one-liner about the role of the "lost" is pretty weird and out-of-sync w/his acute understanding of Scripture.
Another thing I'm wondering about this video is why I didn't notice him once mentioning "Willow Creek". I had the idea that was the dawn of the seeker-friendly model. I was part of a church that adopted it. There were those who were against it, but after years of seeing the spiritual decline, we had enough and most of us who started the church had to go and make another one.

@ImperialAerosolKidFromEP Justin Peters is a teacher God has used to refresh the soul.
But we need to remember the only God breathed, divinely inspired scripture is God's word.

I agree in principle. Unsaved should not partake in communion for their own protection. It would condemn them as a non believer.
Problem is the apostate church which so many churches fall into.
I was raised in a Bible church and have attended many Baptist churches. They teach very little on the Holy Spirit. For over half a century I had no idea what the purpose of the Holy Spirit was and how vital he is.

What is the biblical model of the church? Read the book of acts, it's right there in black and white.
@powernap Yes. Your point?
