We are reminded that none of us are exempt from serious sin or backsliding- Solomon's wives let him to idolatry, David's affair to a man's death, even Demas who fell in love with the world and left the blessing of working with Paul and an example outside the Bible, Martin Luther (reformer) who wrote vile things about the Jews. Let us continue growing in zeal for Christ and be diligent against such sin.

A fascinating article from the author taking a flight across Oceania and Asia- each country he flies over he thinks about God's work there- Australia, he thinks of the Presbyterian Inland Mission, India he thinks of the missions and the persecuted church there, the author then flies over Kathmandu, Nepal and is reminded he is now flying 40,000 feet over the area in which he has a zoom call with Christians every Thursday night!
I wish I had a mind like the author, constantly thinking of God's work in every Country he is flying over! I do like looking at God's creation from a plane window but I admit my mind is quickly drawn to a junky inflight action movie or if I'm flying with the in-laws, my nephew will insist on sitting next to me and decide to deal with my illegally parked Dinotruck with a tank!
