Have morals become an inconvenient nuisance?

You know my thoughts and struggles on the subject

it is very difficult to freely give up worldly pleasure now and to follow our Creators path. we are sooooo easily distracted and tempted here and now.

Why should one be expecting reward for their good deeds ?

In the end it's about what you love and what you hate...

If you love what is good and hate that which is sin then you are in alignment with truth..

If you love that which is evil and loath that which is Good you hate the truth..

It seems to be the case. There are still kind people in the world but the cold hearted ones are running the show. So sad. 😔

It's more an evolutionary thing. Morals are an evolved trait, you can't really just give up on them unless you're a sociopath or otherwise mentally not all there. That's why the Stalin purposely selected sociopaths for the NKVD. Anyone with a conscience wanted out when they got selected for the "organs". The Soviet government would look the other way when you went and got a fake tuberculosis diagnosis or what ever it was you used to get out of it. They didn't want you anyway only the conscienceless. Probably the Nazi SS were like that too.

If you’re good for the reward should it count?? You actions should be who you are not what you get from them or how people appreciate them

Morals are what separates Christians from others.

We are all Human and susceptible to falling into sin due to our sinful nature. This does not make people <Than others just Human.

Who's to say what is sin

Morales tell us the difference between right and wrong. Just keep your faith and God will reward you in the end.

We have gone back to the pagan era.

No, they're protection from disaster.

Because it's wrong and I am not a crowd follower.
