A happy 70th anniversary to the Christian charity Open Doors!
For 70 years they have been helping out the persecuted church- from it's humble begginings of Brother Andrew from Open Doors smuggling Bibles into the Soviet Union to helping out persecuted Christians across the world today!
Educating people on the persecuted church can be discouraging work- the absolute worst comment I have been inboxed was essentially "Stop sharing content about the persecuted church, you're making the Gospel look bad!" No, the persecuted church shows the power of the Gospel!
The above is nowhere near as bad as volunteers who help the organisation spread the message- my church and pastor warmly welcomed them and sent a thankyou note after they visited, other churches however sent no follow up and they didn't even get invited again.
It boils down to this- do you view other Christians as your family? If not sit down and read John and 1 John carefully.
