Hebrews 11:3

[media=https://www.youtube.com/live/6tTOms2qXxQ?si=hL6Y1uFJS2HKSuF5]

How can things which are seen not be made of things which appear or vice versa? This scripture is telling us, what science think they know they actually don't. This scripture is telling us God established the rules for this universe, and men's current understanding of it. That it is far beyond man's understanding of what actually is.

AWESOME

And I noticed when ministers teach Hebrews chapter 11 it's generally a teaching about faith and they seem to just omit speaking on that particular subject in verse three.

Nope.

Stop inserting pet notions into verses.

You are modifying the Word.

@SomeMichGuy Hebrews 11:3 through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of god, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. King James version.

Not inserting pet notions nor modifying the Word _ it says what it says and it means what it says, you interpreted however you want.
@Charity You are trying to make it say something about science, which it does not, and you use a bad translation.

@SomeMichGuy I don't know what you consider science. But to have something that is seen and not MADE OF what appears????

But whatever you think again it's for you to think
@Charity The first Creation story is of the creatio ex nihilo...well-known.

But science isn't mentioned and your misreading:

This scripture is telling us, what science think they know they actually don't.

is exactly that.

And people have created particles from nothing, and virtual particles are part of processes all the time...

@SomeMichGuy

Using electric fields to create matter from nothing is not creating from nothing because you're using the electricity to form it, electricity already exist, energy which are atoms already exist, it's Einstein said everything is energy. Any matter solid or not is of atoms and already exist. In truth they have not created anything from nothing, they've only done what energy is changing from one form to another using electric fields.

If that's what you mean by creating particles from nothing.

Virtual particles????

@Charity No, making particle - anti-particle pairs pop out of the vacuum is fundamentally different.

And don't misquote Einstein; a subsidiary paper of 1905 which uses Zur Elektrodynamik bewegter Körper as its starting point and derives the (again, misquoted!) formula is about the equivalence of mass and energy, not "everything is energy".

Yes virtual particles...ask Feynman.
