If It Weren't For Jesus

If It Weren't For Jesus
by LadyGrace

If it weren't for Jesus
Where would I be?
For all my sins,
Hung on that tree.

They mingled in His crimson flow.
That washed my sins, as white as snow.
Now free am I, from sins dread sway,
Since Jesus redeemed my soul that day.

No condemnation rests on me,
Since Jesus died to set me free.
When Father God looks on my face,
He'll see no sin, erased by grace!

For Him I shall forever live,
And lift my voice on High,
For I shall live eternally,
In that mansion in the sky!

Well done, I love the poem.
@lasergraph I have been thinking of you and praying for you and was going to write you. How did you fare during the flood? I pray you and your family and relatives are okay. That was a horrible flood.

@LadyGrace I am quite a distance from there. I do know people who sent their children to camp there in years past but I don't know anyone personally who was there now. It was a terrible incident and we can only pray for those who was there. Thank you for asking.
@lasergraph yes, I am praying for everyone. I'm glad you weren't affected. That's the first thing I thought of.
