Sermon Notes 06/07/25
Great sermon by the visiting pastor today on Christ's ressurection in Luke and his 40 days on earth after in Acts.
. The Old Testament is still essential reading today- how it pertains to Christ, etc.
. An atheist fully learnt the Bible, could name any verse given to but it did not impact their life- we need the Holy Spirit to learn and apply God's word!
. Lots of Christians in the book of Acts wrongly thought in local terms rather than global terms- an issue still present today.......
. The Gospel travelled from the spiritual heart of Jerusalem to the enemy and Babylon of it's day- Rome.
. The Gospel spread wherever Christians did in Acts, how are doing today?
Great again to see the Wednesday Bible church church continuing to grow and have such a diverse range of people- Indians, Africans, Guyanans, Brazilians, etc.
