Euphrates is Drying Up

revelation 16:12 and the sixth Angel poured out his veil upon the river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the East might be prepared.

When you read the scripture is like Genesis 15:18 it says in the same day the Lord made a covenant with Abraham, saying, unto thy seed I have given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the Great River the river Euphrates.

In the the beginning in Genesis it was mentioned as one of the four rivers and was a great River during the time of Abraham, and in the end in Revelations it had dried up. That is a few thousand years span depending on who's doing the calculating.
Point being John who wrote the Book of Revelation prophesied over 2,000 years ago that the great river Euphrates would dry up. People of today see this occurring. Climate change, drought, and such is the blame. God didn't say why it would dry up, just that it would.

Will it completely dry up or enough that man can cross over with a little effort?

Jesus warns when we see all these things (prophecies written, some from the Old Testament that i maybe ignored,) occurring his return is near, even at the door.

Post is about scripture written over 2,000 years ago concerning the drying up of the Euphrates and what will transpire across it.

And there may have been other very large rivers the size of the Euphrates over the eons to dry up but this one is referring specifically to the Euphrates.

Common sense indicates that the Euphrates is not drying up because of earthquakes or volcanoes that may have affected the flows of some rivers in the past but climate change.

And I didn't write all of this in the post because Christian should understand it God did not say what would cause the river to dry up just that it would. And as indicated in the paragraph above common sense tells us why there is decline in bodies of water.

The Bible also indicates that there will be a shortage of water for people to drink.
