Bible Study Notes 15/05/25- The immutability of God
. The pastor began by mentioning a church history book- '2,000 years of Christ's power' and he mentioned that would be a good title of history in general.
. Churches don't need novelty gimmicks- they need a high view of God!
. Be very careful to not create a God in your own image- read scripture!
. Whatever is happening in your life God is the same yesterday, today and forever. We can change- through our circumstances, health, political views, etc but God cannot.
. God has a Plan A which WILL come to pass- there is no Plan B.
. Even in eternity future God's purposes shall still reign.
. "I'll see my family again". If they are outside of Christ, then no.
. Life actually is a dress rehearsal for our eternal life after death- but for the believer eternity starts now!
. When we persevere don't credit yourself- it is only because God preserves us!
