New Heavens And A New Earth

It is preached and we will remember our loved ones we will know who the prophets were, but is that true? Isaiah 65:17 says for, behold, I create new heavens and a new Earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mine.

Will this here Earth still exist? 2nd Peter 3: 10 but the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the Earth also and the works that are there in shall be burned. (2nd Peter 3:11/ 12/ 13).

Revelation 21:1 and I saw a new heaven and a new Earth for the first heaven and the first Earth were passed away and there were no more seas. 21:23 and the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine on it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamb is the light thereof.

It wouldnt be the first or last time civilisation has been wiped from the face of the Earth to start again.

@Charity i just wonder if its been written, its been written from an idea, and i wonder if that idea sprung from a previous truth or passed on knowledge.
Life, or existence seems to tend towards cycles.
And when we look at the age of earth, and our species, its not unthinkable that we could have evolved civilisation-wise, many times over in those eons.
Maybe God has done this before and like your scripture example says - "the former shall not be remembered".🤷‍♀

@NOS4R2 if you feel it then idea it's your right to do so.

If the science of today with it's technology has any truth to the theories that they have produced, on this earth man did not have civilization-wise humans many times over in the billions of years of the age of the Earth. Evidence they have collected and continue to search for says nil.

And the two most prominent first civilizations which would be the first ancient Sumer and the second ancient Kemet

One cannot say what has happened before this Earth or what will happen after this Earth.

@Charity It’s not hostile against scripture to quote the scripture.
Charity · 61-69
@Ceinwyn your words show forms of hostility / especially when you add The "what's your point"

@Charity No I think it’s that your situation is more fragile than old egg shells.

Religious people are afraid of dying, and think an exception can be made in their place
Charity · 61-69
@Ferise1 delusional because I tell you to keep thinking the way you do? I can say more than that but I won't
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@Charity because you believe you will be saved by some kind of Superman😂
