1st John 3:2

[media=https://youtu.be/YlzXHfSJeRk?si=16ga6DYHws66KnHN]

Paul tells us that we are now children of God and he tells us that we will be like Jesus and when he returns we will see him as he is.

The most popular and accepted teachings is that Jesus is in human form in heaven and in the new heaven and new earth Jesus as well as us too will be in glorified human form. Is that really what Paul is saying when he speaks of glorified bodies?

Paul is telling us God has not revealed to us what we will be like, nor what Jesus is truly like. We don't know, if we already knew he would not have need to say we will see him as he is.

Seeing him as he is, is showing us we have not seen Jesus in his true form. Even in the Old testament he was never revealed in his true form, either in a burning bush or a shadow passing or the form of a man. And some times when an angel appeared to men, men were almost scared to death, and that's an angle.

@Adstar I have read the entire Bible several times in my long years, I study the Bible daily, I listen to a lot of different teachers to get a better perspective of what's being taught whether I agree with it or not. And I am fully aware that we will have new glorified bodies, nowhere in scripture does it say earthly or human bodies.

Jesus was seen rising up in the sky in the same form he used while he was on Earth. And when it says he will return and like manner that is referring to how he returns / as we seen him going up we will see him coming down. As it is written in Matthew 24 and Revelations 1 we will see him coming from the clouds with his angels. It is nothing about his his physical looks / as it is written we will be like him we will see him "AS HE IS."

Are you and those who think like you as I mentioned it is the popular belief continue to believe as you choose. The church has been divided on theology since the beginning and today there are hundreds of different denominations and thousands of sub-denominations within those denominations, because of difference in theology.

There are those who may see what I write and if not agree with it understand it.
