. God loans people their power so to speak- at 2:35 AM when the Pope died, his power departed from him. Not so with God- unlike us he always has his power and it never needs to be replenished.
. God is sovereign over all and that includes Satan- look at the book of Job.
. Think of your unsaved relatives- their hardness of heart (and it is hard) and proudness of heart (it is proud) but they are not beyond God's saving power! Keep praying and sharing the Gospel with them!
. Noone enters a Gospel centred church by chance- if the two individuals that walked out on the pastor's Ressurection Sunday get a sleepless night or panicked thoughts at 3 AM about the judgement of God and that causes them to think of Christ- GOOD!
. When we're sleeping God is still working- what a thought!
. The greatest miracle is God drawing a sinner to himself.
. When you are in a trial and trials will come- you need to remember this- you have an omnipotent Saviour who reigns above.
. Never underestimate God's timing- a Christian couple kept praying for their children's salvation- that couple's children came to faith 20 years after the couple died!
