Palm Sunday - The Beginning of Holy Week for Christians

This morning Christians remember the Triumphal Entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. Where the people cried out, "Hosanna, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!". They proclaimed Him the King. Yet by the end of the week Jesus was betrayed, accused, tried, and crucified. May this week be one of reflection and of hope to remember the Gospel story.

@OverTheHill The Jesus character was called the king of the Jews when he was born and also when he was crucified. As a mature adult who is probably not a Jew, why do you want to be ruled by a Jewish king? Even his contemporaries did not treat him as their king. They eagerly killed him.

Remember Matthew 15:24 (CEB) = "24 Jesus replied, “I’ve been sent only to the lost sheep, the people of Israel.”"

@Diotrephes Do you enjoy trolling Christians?

Christians recognize Jesus not only as the King of the Jews, but the King of Kings, and Lord of Lords. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the Eternal God, and the second person of the Godhead (God the Son). He is the Savior, and the Redeemer of all mankind.

Anyone with a basic understanding of the Christian faith knows this is what Christians believe.

It is up to you whether you choose to believe or not.
