The generosity of the Lebanese church

Today in my Barnabas Aid prayer diary I was reading about Lebanon and the Christians there- and now after watching some Todd Friel with breakfast I will write about it!

In a Country with strained resources Lebanon has still let in many refugees- and Lebanese Christians don't whinge about it, they use it as an opportunity to share the Gospel with them.

Lebanese Christians have been showing Christ's love and companion to the refugees, with some being drawn to Christ through this!

I don't know about you but it's amazing to think of what has come from this hospitality- of meals shared, stories told and the Gospel of Christ shared and lives changed!

It should really challenge us with the attitude our Lebanese brothers and sisters in Christ share!

I have seen first hand the benefits of immigrants/refugees on the church. Had the UK remained static my church would have been the same chapel it was- after the mass migration periods my regular Sunday church has had to host three services- now that is not enough and it has to host four services- it looks like the body of Christ- people from different backgrounds and cultures worshipping our Holy Triune God.
