Was reading about Whitefield's time in the 1700s in Scotland- what an amazing read!
Sermons were virtually happening every day of the week- multiple times on many days!
One time Whitefield was preaching a sermon in a field and ended the sermon at 9 PM! Time to call it a night right? Nope! People were singing and praising God until past 1am!
What a beautiful sight- people in the beautiful Scottish landscape praising God underneath the ancient stars!
Another time it was during the Sabbath when Whitefield was preaching- it was on a hill and no less than 20,000 people were there listening- it's a good job Whitefield had help serving communion from other ministers!
