He is considered a prince, like mankind has their title set up King and the Kings sons are Prince. One of the easiest ways for a man to understand is the angelic beings are considered sons of God.
In the second Corinthians 4:4 KJV, I think it is he is considered God of this world and that's only because the majority of the people in this world do his type of workings against our heavenly Father.
He wanted to be king of heaven, and tried to take it by force and lost. A title which he will never have.
