A Shrove Tuesday message
The editor's note on the beginning of 'Banner Of Truth' March 2025 issue is so enriching I can summarise and can convert it into a post.
What does it mean to be a Christian? Much more than we can imagine- our Christian journey was known before in eternity past, we experience our earthly pilgrimage here and our walk with Christ will take us into eternity future.
Ultimately, we will only be perfected once we see Christ face to face- Christians need to remember that none of us will ever be fully perfected in this life.
In eternity we will be perfected but in this life we stray, we stumble, we sin, we doubt. It was the experience of the greatest prophets and it will be our experience too! Only Christ (God the Son) lived sinlessly on this earth.
Growing is always something God wants us as Christians to do together- through fellow Christian believers who can offer us support and encouragement- the Christian walk was never meant to be alone!
