The truth you've ignored

Jesus died for the dirtiest version of you. Jesus forgave when you felt unforgivable. Jesus accepted you as his own before you ever did a good thing for him. Jesus died for you before you even knew you needed saving. For some reason, Jesus runs to sick people to heal them, not away from them. For some Eason, Jesus forgives the most sinful people if they are ready to repent and believe in him. For some reason, Jesus moves towards the dirtiest people to clean them. For some reason, Jesus is not repelled by our brokenness, sins, trauma or imperfections, he moves towards us. He moves towards us to be our solution, our savior and our healer because "They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick."

Don't hide your flaws from him. Don't hide your sins from him. Don't hide your mistakes from him. Don't hid your pain from him. For God says, "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."

For some reason, Jesus loves you at your lowest. He doesn't see your mess as a problem, he sees it as a reason to come closer. Jesus isn't waiting for you to be perfect, he's waiting for you to be honest. Jesus isn't disgusted by your struggles, he's determined to make you free. Because the Son of Man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Don't hide your questions from him. Don't hide your doubts, struggles or your heart from Jesus. Cast all your anxieties on him because he cares for you. Keep coming back to him again and again. He's not tired of you. He's not giving up on you. He's waiting with opened arms. You don't have to fix yourself first. Just come.

For some reason, Jesus doesn't count how many times you've fallen. He celebrates every time you get back up. Jesus doesn't hold your past against you. He promises you a new future. Jesus doesn't walk way when others do. He stays even when it hurts. Jesus isn't frustrated by your weakness. He uses it to show his strength because "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Don't try to hide your guilt from him. Do not hide your shame, your failures or your tears from Jesus. Because he says, "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool."

Let him be the one to heal your wounds. Let him be the one to break your chains. Let him be the one to rewrite your story. Because the same Jesus who walked on water still walks into the storms of our lives. The same Jesus who calmed the seas still speaks peace into our chaos. So come. Come tired. Come broken. Come messy. Come just as you are and rest in the arms of the one who never leaves, who never gives up and who will always love you once you get saved.

@emiliya I will pray for you as well. I see a meek and humble spirit in you. That is wonderful and very rare. I need Christ's help also, every single day. We all do. But what specifically do you need help with, dear?
