Sermon Notes 23/02/25
. "Hell lost another one, I am free" so began the worship music. What an amazing reminder to all those that have accepted Christ as their Saviour!
. Prayer request for a trip some of the church are doing to India- for a safe landing, a succesful ttip and for great fellowship with the Indian church and Indian brothers and sisters in Christ.
. Don't hoard the resources God has given you.
. When God closes a door, he will always open another one- God doesn't do static lives!
. We have much to learn from the faith of the widow Elijah visited- even during a famine the widow trusted God and provided Elijah with bread and water and the result? God continued filling the jar every day! An amazing example of the way God can provide.
. The widow Elijah visited certainly didn't expect to be in the Bible.... and she certainly didn't expect a pastor with his strong Merseyside accent to be talking about her in a church in the year 2025!
. The pastor concluded- "And you know what? I can't wait to meet her in heaven!"
