Praise Report
Back in my old hometown ATM.
I'll set the scene- family trip I mentioned now approaching and dad is over-excited this morning. Pointing out a Tesla he shouts: "LOOK! A SWASTICAR!!"
Later while my mum, dad and I are having a Neros for breakfast my dad says in a creepy villain style voice "I've seen things you can't even imagine" it sets my mum and I off laughing, but maybe you had to be there.
Well, my aunt and her husband and my other uncle (as in dad's brother and sister and dad's sister's husband) are at the house now and they greet us with their proper estuary Kent accents- time to leave with the lads in the family for the family trip!
In the car after rocking out to some 'Sabbath (obviously dad, uncle and aunt's husband were born in the mid- late 60s.) We get a call from one of my uncle's many dodgy mates (my dad always jokes that at my uncle's family events that all his friends will be with their parole officers. At a recent event one of the guests had been released after a long stretch for murder 😅) panicking that his transaction has probably been caught by the NCA.
The next call- my uncle who you were praying for tells us in the car through the system that he's being discharged on Monday and won't be getting an amputation!
