I learned of this just yesterday, when another of my favorite people here, Carla, submitted a post about it.
I think maybe it's the "laudable goal" part, that has prevented more media attention to the rather disgusting aspects of this particular goat statue...or according the creator of it; sculpture.

Since the Cantons chose goat 'sculptures' because of their having rescuing several actual goats from slaughter, I do wonder how they feel about Trump's pick of Kristi Noam.
