Well should he have destroyed all of the fallen? Would have been simpler! Then there would be No need for redemption, Mercy, Grace, or salvation and definitely no regret.

@Charity if God is perfect and has always been perfect and has never been imperfect, then why would he create something that is imperfect? Whether it be the angels or humans. Why not create something perfect like himself?
