Bible Sales

[media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQOfrFRqpbI&t=176s]

I don't endorse CBN or the 700 club. As a matter of fact I don't support other perspectives of this video, but I won't go into what.

But want to know why Bible sales are increasing? People were promised a Utopia in a secular society, but these people are now waking up and realise all it offers is a series of bizarre ideologies which noone ultimately believes in and their zealous fans will stumble trying to explain the logic of them.

Further to the above- God's word offers a consistent world view that leads to peace.

Hope- the economy is failing, home ownership is less than ever and the future is bleak, but God's word offers hope that cannot be matched anywhere else.

But let's not beat around the bush about the greatest message of hope- Christ (God The Son) shed his blood on the cross for our sin, not only that but he also had the pure wrath of God poured out on him on the cross, suffering we will never be able to comprehend or imagine (this is how serious our sin is).

Why did he do it? To understand, we must realise we are ALL sinners with NOTHING to offer God, we don't deserve heaven but God loved the world so much that Christ suffered the above for us, so that if we choose to accept this, we will avoid an eternity in hell and instead have an eternity with our glorious God forever!

Amen, brother. I don't endorse them either. The Holy Spirit is the best teacher and He uses the Bible to teach and guide us. We were never promised a rose garden and I'm glad we weren't, because we would never learn anything, nor grow in Christ.
@LadyGrace Amen sister, a great biblical perspective!

God's words are the most valuable treasure of this world and of this universe. His love is above all the love of this earth soaring like a sea.

This is about His Spiritual Bread and His Spiritual Wine.
@DanielsASJ Amen to that brother, brilliantly put!
