A very moving memorial...
Joe Kirby recently dedicated a video to his friend who went to be with the Lord- his friend was only 35.
His friend had various health conditions and as a result of one of them he was blind in one eye, but he still had such joy in the Lord!
Joe's friend used to regularly sing and play the guitar around Southport and used this as a ministry- what a blessing to Southport!
There was a minister who had trouble trying to bring a lady to Christ, the lady then rejected Christ and no longer spoke to the minister.
How is this relevant? Well at Joe's friends funeral the minister was there- guess who he saw? That's right, the lady above and through Joe's friends ministry she had come to Christ!
We know that Joe's friend is now in heaven- no more vision problems, no more suffering and is rejoicing with the Lord.
How can we know? Because Joe's friend believed on Christ- he knew that he was a sinner and that sin has consequences, so he trusted solely on Christ's shed blood on the cross and knew that this was the only way he could have his sin forgiven.
