Sermon Notes 24/11/24

The service began with a moving message from one of the worship team reminding us that in the coming new earth there will be no more pain, suffering or tears, a very moving message needed for today.

We must let Christ be the firm foundational rock!

Putting our hope in any hobby, person, etc is being the foolish builder that built a house upon sand!

We will go through storms in this life, but as long as Christ is our firm foundation, we will come out stronger!

The sermon ended with a great worship song- I'll highlight some lyrics.

That I put my faith it Jesus
He's never let me down
He's faithful through generations
So why would He fail now?
He won't
He won't
He won't fail

Isn't it great we serve a king who will never let us down? As long as you are human you have been let down by people- maybe even pastors or Christian leaders who were an inspiration- look at leaders such as Steven Lawson. But Christ will never let us down- myself and EVERY Christian will atest to this!

Cause rain came, wind blew
But my house was built on You
I'm safe with You
I'm gonna make it
I'm gonna make it through

After hearing this song numerous times in Church, one day we heard it when my wife was pregnant and an inaudible voice let me know these words were going to be put into action, I did not know it but after that service, my wife soon began spotting and after a visit to the hospital, the radiologist confirmed the baby did not survive. But I can confirm Christ was with us and my non believing family saw how my wife amazingly handled it!

Throughout the whole service today, you could feel the strong presence of the Holy Spirit!

A wonderful post on how earthly things should not let us down our faith in Jesus Christ. Our faith should go stronger and stronger, more passionate about Jesus Christ. We will even take up the sufferings which are NO MATCH to the suffering of Jesus Christ and even his apostles.

May Our love in Jesus always strengthen with time. May we be fully focused on him and the words of Bible for in the beginning, the Word was with God and The Word was God.

Thank you for this post, Brother.
@DanielsASJ Thanks so much brother, glad you appreciated it!

I'm deeply sorry to hear that the baby did not survive but what a great testament she is to the Lord in how she handled it. We can do all things in Christ who loves us. She's a great testimony to that.

And what a great post. Beautiful music and words from our Lord, a beautiful sermon, the whole works. Absolutely amazing and what a blessing! Thank you for this great testimony. So true. Jesus never lets us down.
@LadyGrace Thanks sister, the sermon on Sunday was strong and you could really feel the Holy Spirit.

The church for Bible Study has been to numerous meetings, etc but Bible Study notes should resume next month!
